Music on hold with Easy On Hold

Vodia's phone system offers seamless music on hold using the Easy On Hold service, which enhances the customer experience during wait times. The hold feature, originally patented by Albert Levy, allows for managing multiple calls efficiently, keeping one caller engaged while addressing another. Easy On Hold streams in unicast mode, enabling the same stream to be shared across Vodia's multi-tenant PBX. To implement this, a routable IP is required, and opening the appropriate inbound port for streaming may be necessary.

How to configure VoIP Innovation SMS with Vodia PBX

To configure VoIP Innovation SMS with Vodia PBX, start by ensuring you have Vodia version 66.0.7, a VoIP Innovations account, and a purchased DID number. Log in to your VoIP Innovations account, create an SMS-only API app using Apidaze, and set the SMS request URL to your PBX domain. Assign your DID number to this app for SMS functionality. Then, in the Vodia PBX, enable SMS at the domain level and configure the messaging settings by entering the API key, secret and SMS DID. Finally, test the SMS feature using the Vodia Windows App by sending a message to a number formatted as 1XXXXXXXXXX.

Vodia Callcenter Feature: Maxumun number of calls

This configuration can be found in the ACD group settings, where users can select a maximum number ranging from 2 to 25 calls. How to send a Vodia QR code for the Vodia App

To send a Vodia QR code for the Vodia App, you need to configure your PBX to send a welcome email containing a 2D QR code to your subscribers. First, ensure your Vodia setup has a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), a valid certificate (like one generated through Let's Encrypt) and an email service provider such as Google SMTP or AWS SMTP. Log in to the Vodia PBX, navigate to the administrator settings under Security, and enable the option to "Include 2D barcode in user welcome email." Save your changes, and the QR code will be automatically sent to new users, allowing them to easily access their extension account on the Vodia App.
