Vodia’s PBX facilitates the automatic provisioning of Cisco 3PCC devices, such as the 68xx, 78xx and 88xx series, through zero-touch LAN provisioning. To start, users must reset the Cisco 3PCC phone by disconnecting the power, waiting a few seconds and then following a specific key sequence. To upgrade the phone, it’s essential to host the firmware on an HTTP or TFTP server and input the correct URL in the Vodia interface. The authentication settings allow for consistent credentials across devices, streamlining the provisioning process. Finally, by entering the correct provisioning URL in the Cisco phone's web interface, users can easily pair their devices with the Vodia PBX, ensuring efficient communication without needing to reboot the phone.
The Vodia Windows softphone client offers a versatile way to manage calls, including seamless transfers. Users can transfer calls using three methods: blind transfer, attended transfer and transfer via the contact list. Each method has its specific steps to follow, ensuring users can handle their calls efficiently.
