Yori Kasprzak, founder of Brandywine Technical Partners, joins Vodia’s Eric Altman to share how he built a multimillion-dollar business and the role Vodia has played in its growth. From cloud telephony and CRM integrations to door systems, AI and mobile workforces, he explains how Brandywine solves customer challenges with Vodia’s open platform and shares advice for partners looking to grow. His story shows how finding customer pain points can create business opportunities beyond traditional phone services.
At Vodia, we define our success by the success of our partners. Our commitment to innovation means giving them a feature-rich, AI-enabled cloud phone system that’s easy to install and maintain, with the flexibility to build solutions that help their businesses grow.
Brandywine Technical Partners (“Brandywine”) has been delivering technology-based solutions in the greater Boston area for over two decades, with a focus on solution-based selling and problem-solving. Its “figure it out” and “has to be a way” attitude shapes how the company addresses its customers’ needs.
Yori Kasprzak, founder of Brandywine, sat down for a podcast with Eric Altman, Vodia Sales Engineer, at Vodia’s headquarters outside Boston to discuss how he built Brandywine into a multimillion-dollar company and the role Vodia has played in that growth. One of Vodia’s most successful partners, Yori has been working with the PBX since its earliest versions.
Watch the podcast:
Yori started Brandywine in 2002 as an outsourced MIS company and soon moved into PBX installations, then into the cloud as the cloud revolution got underway. “We bet on SIP,” Yori says, “and here we are.”
Eric asks Yori what has helped Brandywine become one of Vodia’s most successful partners.
“I guess the two things that got me out of the gate,” Yori says, “are the multi-tenanting, which was very rare at the time and a big thing, and the session border controller built into the phone system.”
“You have to reinvent yourself constantly,” Yori says, “you can’t be complacent in this market - things move fast! If I were to encourage other resellers, it’s about finding those niches and those pain points.”
For Yori, growth comes from identifying customer pain points and using Vodia’s flexibility to offer solutions beyond telephony, creating more opportunities within each customer relationship.
Yori tells Eric how VoIP has been “on fire” over the last 10 years, with so many businesses making the transition. He believes features are key to selling cloud phone systems, and he values both Vodia’s CRM integrations and its willingness to explore additional integrations requested by partners.
Vodia “isn’t a phone system anymore,” Yori says, “it’s a platform.”
In 2025, Brandywine worked with Vodia to integrate door systems into our PBX.
“Now I can go into a company and say, okay, you've got 25 phones - do you want to be able to open a door by pushing a button on the phone? You can open the door from the Vodia app on your cell phone.” With Vodia, Brandywine can now offer its customers overhead paging and school bell programming. “Now, Vodia is an ecosystem.”
Yori believes the “last piece” and what “really drives it home” is AI integration: “I think AI is going to be like the cloud. We can take Vodia and put it into any LLM.” Yori thinks this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Yori sees smartphones as the next key market driver: “Everybody is going app-driven, and hardware is receding from the desktop. We’re marketing ours as fleet mobile.”
Why Vodia? “It’s the openness and the ability to get things done,” he says.
“For the people out there listening, if you’re already using Vodia or you’re thinking about using Vodia, you already have a great ecosystem. You’re making money with Vodia, and I can tell you, you can make even more money than you realize by using it as an ecosystem.”
Apps have changed how businesses communicate and work, but every digital experience still depends on physical hardware. From smartphones, desk phones, and headsets to networking equipment and cloud servers, reliable infrastructure supports productivity, security, and call quality. Here’s why hardware still matters in an app-first world and what businesses should consider when choosing dependable devices and secure connectivity for the office, hybrid teams, and remote work, while preparing for evolving technology.
Vodia Wallboards gives supervisors, contact centers, service providers, and operations teams a self-hosted, real-time view of Vodia call queue activity. Monitor waiting, ringing, and active calls; agent availability; service levels; abandoned calls; and queue trends across one or more Vodia PBX systems. Start with a ready-made layout or build a custom wallboard using queue filters, live widgets, AI summaries, and alerts. Display the information your teams need in a browser, on an operations dashboard, or on a dedicated TV screen.
AI-powered calling gives businesses new ways to manage conversations, improve availability, and respond to callers more efficiently. It also introduces important questions about transparency, consent, privacy, data handling, and accountability. Organizations need clearly defined boundaries for what a Voice Agent may answer, which systems it can access, and when identity verification or human assistance is required. A thoughtful deployment balances automation with appropriate safeguards, helping businesses use conversational AI confidently while protecting callers and maintaining trust.
