Brandywine Technical Partners, a trusted technology provider in the Boston, has enhanced communication systems in eight Eastern Massachusetts schools by integrating Vodia's cloud-based solutions. Originally using outdated Windows programs for school bells, these schools now benefit from Vodia’s customizable bell schedules, door access control, emergency notifications and more. The deployment was seamless, offering significant improvements in safety, efficiency and operational flexibility. Vodia’s robust PBX features, including API customization, and easy deployment, make it a premier choice for innovative communication solutions.

Brandywine Technical Partners has been providing technology solutions throughout the Boston area for more than 20 years, with a commitment to problem-solving and solutions-based services. The company is known for “figuring it out” and always “finding a way,” and this approach has made Brandywine the go-to vendor for SMBs and institutions in the greater Boston area.

A formidable competitor in the cloud services market, Brandywine has served more than 10,000 endpoints as of the fourth quarter of 2023. The company has long been an ardent proponent of evolutionary technology, combining SIP-based voice systems with CCTV, classroom bell systems, door access, emergency notifications and SMS text platforms with voice-to-text and text-to-voice applications.

Brandywine has been deploying Vodia for two decades. “Vodia was an early adopter for multi-tenant hosting when no one else was,” says Yori Kasprzak, founder and owner of Brandywine.

What Was Your Customer Using Prior to Vodia?
We have installed Vodia at eight schools in Eastern Massachusetts. While these schools were using Vodia as a cloud phone system, they were using clunky Windows programs for their bells. Brandywine worked with Vodia to create a standalone scheduled school bell function - these schools now have fully customizable school bell schedules that can be activated and deactivated with a button on a phone. This includes any type of bell a school requires, including day bells, inclement weather bells, late start bells, etc.

How Would You Describe Your Experience Deploying Vodia?
Painless and easy set up and use. With Vodia and SIP, we can replace proprietary classroom bell systems, control door access, control lights and HVAC, play alerts and visual notifiers for life-threatening emergencies, use E911 location-based emergency services to notify police and EMTs of exact building locations and so much more.

What’s Your Favorite Feature?
The Vodia PBX offers great RPS integration for top shelf phones, including Cisco, Grandstream and Yealink alongside easy AWS and AZure deployment. And the API gives us solution-based customization options.

A lot of what makes our customers happy includes the “bells and whistles” you get with Vodia: easy automated button mapping, custom greetings, custom logos on phones, advanced MOH features, flawless drop shipment deployments and easy softphone/desktop app adoption.

What’s the Key Reason You’d Recommend Vodia to Other Customers?
Vodia is a premier communication  platform, one that’s been tested in a variety of environments for over a decade. On examination, you can see Vodia is way more than you see on its “surface.” This is a cloud phone system with an engine to power innovators who want to grow their business and provide cutting edge, best-in-class solutions in a dynamic and growing marketplace.
