The new Vodia PBX Installer Wizard provides administrators with a more straightforward way to deploy Vodia PBX in Windows environments. It automatically identifies the latest supported PBX version while still allowing administrators to select another compatible V68, V69, or V70 build. The wizard downloads the required PBX files and libraries, creates the Windows service, configures the installation folder, and generates the access information needed to open the PBX.

Tech

Vodia now supports provisioning for Cisco 3PCC phones, giving businesses and service providers a clearer way to connect compatible Cisco multiplatform IP phones to the Vodia PBX. Admins can add supported Cisco devices through Vodia Device Management, pair them with extensions, and configure provisioning settings through the phone’s web interface. This expands Vodia’s supported device ecosystem while helping customers continue using trusted Cisco IP phones within their existing business phone system.

Tech

Vodia PBX now supports the Cisco IP Phone Series 9800 running Multiplatform (MPP / 3PCC) firmware, Cisco’s latest flagship IP phone lineup. The devices can be onboarded and managed directly within the PBX, including configuration and firmware control, allowing organizations to continue using Cisco hardware in on-premises or cloud deployments. Supported models, firmware types, and recommended upgrade methods for Cisco MPP provisioning are also outlined.

Tech

Cisco IP Phone Series 6800, 7800, and 8800 devices running Multiplatform (MPP / 3PCC) firmware can be used with the Vodia PBX in SIP-based environments. Supported models span entry-level, mid-range, and advanced devices commonly deployed in enterprise and service provider scenarios. Cisco-provided MPP firmware is used, with firmware versions and upgrades managed through the PBX after initial onboarding, supporting both on-premises and cloud deployments.
