How to factory reset an Htek UC series Phones

To factory reset an Htek UC series phone, including P, G, or T models, administrators can clear the device’s previous configuration to prepare it for provisioning with a new setup. Resetting wipes existing settings, which is helpful in cases where previous configurations need removal before applying updated provisioning from the PBX. Once reset, the phone is ready for a fresh configuration tailored to its new requirements, ensuring any prior settings don’t interfere with its functionality in a different setup.

To successfully reset the Htek device, follow these steps below to factory reset your Htek UC device - this includes the P, G or T models. To provision the Htek phones, the administrator must reset the phone to delete the old configuration setting on the phone.

Factory Reset your Htek UC phone

  • Press asterisk key 3 times “*”, “*”, “*” and then press the “x” button and hold it for 10 seconds.
  • Release the “x” key button.
  • After restart, your phone will be successfully reset.
