Vodia’s Chrome and Mozilla Firefox Click-to-Dial Add-on Browser Extensions

In an attempt to stay true to our tagline – Where VoIP is Easy – Vodia has created two new browser extensions: One for Chrome and one for Mozilla Firefox. These extensions allow you to now click-to-dial right from the browser window, without having to copy and paste the number into your browser client, or even manually entering the number on the desk phone. Simply highlight the number you want to call, right click, and then choose where you want the call to go through (browser or deskphone). Of course, you’ll need to input your Vodia credentials into the extension popup before you can make a call, but once that is done, you are off to the races!

Today more than ever, we are working almost exclusively in front of our computer.  Be that a desktop or a laptop, we need to be as efficient as possible.  Over the past 6 months, I’ve learned many cool tricks on my Macbook Air that allow me to swing from one desktop to another, keyboard shortcuts that allow me to switch between applications, and I’ve been much better at organizing my files and folders.  Simply put, I’ve needed to learn these things to become more adapted to working completely from my computer, no matter where I am.

If you’re anything like me, you’re starting to see your laptop and other tech tools behave more like a musical instrument, needing to be used with finesse and expert skill.  The more we can become one with the machine, the more successful we can all become at managing these new expectations that have been put on us all because of covid.  Our hope is that this feature will help our users get closer to that success.

Vodia Version 70.2 - Run Multiple Licenses on the Same Virtual Machine

V70.2 introduces more flexible licensing for multi-tenant PBX deployments by allowing service providers to assign prepaid licenses directly to tenants within a postpaid environment. Once assigned, the tenant uses the prepaid license independently, and the underlying postpaid license no longer counts that tenant. This gives MSPs and hosted PBX providers more flexibility in how they structure customer licensing while continuing to operate tenants on shared infrastructure, reducing operating costs and simplifying large-scale multi-tenant deployments.
