Vodia PBX now offering Freshbooks integrated billing for service providers

Vodia Networks, one of the leading providers of IPPBX and Contact center software, announced the much anticipated integrated billing functionality for its Vodia PBX software that will enable service providers to connect their Vodia PBX servers to Freshbooks; a popular cloud based accounting software, and automatically invoice their clients based on usage. This functionality will further allow service providers to track invoices and receive payments from their customers more efficiently through an online payment system.

WOBURN, MA. – Vodia Networks, one of the leading providers of IPPBX and Contact center software, announced the much anticipated integrated billing functionality for its Vodia PBX software that will enable service providers to connect their Vodia PBX servers to Freshbooks; a popular cloud based accounting software, and automatically invoice their clients based on usage. This functionality will further allow service providers to track invoices and receive payments from their customers more efficiently through an online payment system.

Freshbooks is one of the simplest and most intuitive cloud accounting software available today that provides easy creation, management and mailing of invoices. To make collections simpler, Freshbooks relies on electronic invoices which are delivered directly to the customer’s inbox, though the option for paper based invoices is also available. FreshBooks can further send regular reminders to delinquent accounts.  Clients can login and check the status of their own payments and pay with any of the major credit cards (Discover, Visa, MasterCard American Express), PayPal or ACH. Recurring payments can also easily be managed through automatic payment programs available for even faster payments from clients. For invoice customization, service providers can easily add their business logo and personal information to the invoice template.

The new Vodia PBX billing functionality enables service providers to associate a Freshbooks account with each customer domain on the PBX and configure usage charges for each client directly on the PBX. Usage charges may include any fixed charges per user, conferencing, automatic call distribution or billable call charges per minute. Aggregated usage reports for each domain are posted by the PBX to Freshbooks along with Customer details (Client ID, name, email etc.) using the Freshbooks API. Freshbooks then automatically generates invoices for the customers based on the information received and emails the generated invoices to the customers. Customers can easily pay the invoices online via PayPal, credit card or ACH. Automatic reminders further help keep track of outstanding invoices. Service providers can also set up recurring billing profiles for customers in the Freshbooks web portal.
