“Skyetel SIP trunks make it so resellers can organize and manage end-users needs, all from a single admin portal,” says Kyle Asbury, Director, Sales and Marketing, Vodia, “then they can turn around and provide each end-user with a branded portal of their own to track specific products and usage. We’ve been excited about this partnership since we announced it this past summer, and we were delighted to have Brian Smiley in our booth at Channel Partners 2021. The Vodia-Skyetel partnership is a phenomenal option for resellers, and we’re going to demonstrate why at our upcoming webinar.”

“Skyetel is the carrier purpose-built to support VoIP resellers and Vodia is the perfect complementary PBX platform,” said Brian Smiley, VP Sales and Marketing, Skyetel. “We are looking forward to showing attendees how Vodia and Skyetel make it easy for resellers to combine our service offerings. We are also looking forward to taking questions and discussing our partnership with our reseller community.”

snom button mode to the rescue

Addressing a challenge with LDAP, VoIP phones lack the ability to write new contacts to the address book. For users of snom phones, a solution involves utilizing the snom button mode, specifically the "keyevent" mode with the F_ADR_BOOK parameter. This configuration enables users to add phone numbers directly from the phone keyboard, bypassing the need for PBX login and web interface use. This versatile approach can also be applied to other functions and is similarly available for Grandstream, HTek, and Yealink phones.
