Burlington, MA and London – September 26, 2023: Vodia Networks (“Vodia”), a developer of cutting-edge software-based telephone systems, and UC-Reseller, the exclusive distributor for Vodia in the UK, are pleased to announce a new LinkedIn group, Vodia Experts. Please visit the page or use the QR code below to join the group:
The Vodia Experts LinkedIn group enhances channel support by providing a platform for Vodia resellers to collaborate, share insights and integrations, and cultivate a community based on best practices. It also serves as a source of guidance and support for its members.
We invite all Vodia partners to join the Vodia Experts group. You don’t have to be technical: we welcome everyone, and we would love to see participation from technical, developers, sales and marketing professionals.
Vodia’s open API enables resellers to complete their own integrations and develop interfaces and utilities that expand the Vodia ecosystem. Vodia Experts serves as a platform for resellers to demonstrate, share and showcase their accomplishments with other like-minded partners, offering, at the same time, a collaborative space for seeking and/or providing assistance and guidance. It’s the ideal place to observe how other resellers collaborate with Vodia, and to find out what works (and what doesn’t). It’s also a perfect platform for discussing prospective features, before submitting them as formal feature requests.
“Vodia Experts is another avenue of support for Vodia resellers,” said Eric Altman, Sales Engineer, Vodia, “a collaborative space where resellers can discuss their experiences and share their knowledge and, ultimately, help each other grow.”
“We will announce webinars and other events including product launches,” said Stuart Rudd, Director of Channel Development, UC-Reseller, “and we are looking for marketing and PR content from our members, which we will promote into other channels on our members behalf, amplifying the coverage for our valued partners. Ultimately, we are telling the channel, ‘we want our partners’ voices to be heard, as experts in their field.’ We have identified a collaborative, exciting way to connect Vodia resellers, and we want to create a cohesive and informative atmosphere wherein our members help each other gain market share. I’m really excited about what we will accomplish.”
“We are excited about the opportunities Vodia Experts gives us to develop and share more content, including press releases, blog posts and, hopefully, case studies,” said David Porter, VP of Communications, Vodia. “We hope Vodia Experts becomes a source of quality content for everyone, from MSPs to traditional telcos. We look forward to sharing this content within the group and beyond.”

Vodia Networks has been a trendsetter in the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) industry for over a decade. Since 2006, Vodia has led the VoIP world in innovation and forward-thinking development, particularly with its early adoption of a multi-tenancy platform for its customers – Vodia was the first company to offer a true multi-tenancy platform and it remains one of the very few companies that can deliver it. Vodia’s multi-tenancy platforms are compatible with an unprecedented number of technologies, including desk phones, softphones and APIs for numerous third-party SW and CRM systems.
Vodia Phone 2 turns your Android device into an extension of your Vodia Phone System, making it easier to stay connected wherever you work. Native Android integration lets users make and receive business calls using their office number and identity, even when the app is running in the background. From one mobile app, they can hold, transfer and park calls, access voicemail, messages and contacts, review call history, view extension activity and manage important settings such as Do Not Disturb and call forwarding.
The new Vodia PBX Installer Wizard makes it easier for administrators to deploy Vodia PBX on Windows. It automatically detects the latest supported version, while still letting admins choose a specific V68, V69, or V70 build. The wizard downloads the required files, creates the Windows service, sets up the installation folder, and generates the access details needed to open the PBX. A download-only option is also available for preparing and inspecting the files without completing the installation.
Business communication is no longer tied to a single device. Desk phones remain valuable for employees who manage high call volumes, mobile apps give remote and travelling teams access to business calling wherever they work, and browser calling fits naturally into computer-based workflows. This article looks at the strengths and limitations of each endpoint, explains which roles they suit best and shows why most organizations benefit from building the right mix rather than selecting one option for everyone.
