The Vodia PBX integrates with Fanvil’s Y501 intercoms and X305 big-button IP phones to deliver a robust Microsoft Teams telephony solution for nursing homes and healthcare environments. This setup enables seamless communication between administrative staff, caregivers, and residents, while supporting features like emergency calling, paging, and DECT mobility. By combining Vodia’s Microsoft-certified PBX with Teams-compliant Fanvil devices, care facilities gain a reliable, flexible, and fully integrated communication system tailored to their unique needs.

Vodia, the industry-standard telephone system for the modern workplace, is pleased to announce our Microsoft-certified phone system now integrates with Fanvil’s new Teams smart nursing home solutions, the Y501 SIP healthcare intercom series, and the X305 Big Button IP Phone

Vodia PBX software turns mobile phones, laptops, tablets, PCs, and standard VoIP phones into endpoints employees can use for their communication needs, both on-site and in hybrid and remote environments. The integration of our Microsoft-certified PBX with Teams makes it the perfect communication solution within any Teams ecosystem, including care homes and skilled nursing facilities

Integrating the Vodia PBX with Teams strengthens and supports internal and external communication across various environments within a nursing home, ensuring efficient coordination between administration, medical staff, and patients.

With the Vodia phone system, nursing homes using Teams and Teams-compliant devices can connect their offices to rooms with devices registered to the PBX, while staff can use DECT multicell as a cordless solution on site. The integration combines the collaborative depth and strength of Teams with Vodia’s industry-standard telephony features for immediate emergency response, paging, and peerless overall call management.

Fanvil Y501-Y series SIP healthcare intercoms are designed for home-based care, nursing homes, and other indoor applications, including emergency communication, security protection, and broadcasting; their colorful appearance enhances their visibility, so residents can find phones quickly and use them with ease. The intercoms feature HD audio, 2 SIP accounts and detachable DSS keys; they’re IP54 waterproof and dustproof, with built-in 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi (Y501W-Y/Y501W-Y-E). The series provides different installation modes of standard 86 box embedded, and they are wall mountable for timely healthcare communication. The best-selling models within the series are the Y501W and Y501-Y.

The Fanvil X305 is a big-button IP phone designed for nursing homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities - it can even be installed in bathrooms. The X305 features a 3.5-inch color screen and big buttons for ease of identification and use, with support for 2 SIP lines and PoE power supply. The phone has a built-in 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. It supports 433MHz wireless emergency buttons for quick emergency alerts, improving safety and shortening response times in critical situations.

Aging hardware, ongoing maintenance, and rigid infrastructure can quietly hold businesses back as they grow. Cloud-based VoIP systems remove these constraints by reducing telephony expenses, improving flexibility, and enabling teams to communicate seamlessly from anywhere. For many organizations, modernizing business telephony is no longer optional, it is a practical step toward efficiency and resilience.

Vodia Announces Integration with ElevenLabs Voice AI Platform

A streamlined integration connects the Vodia PBX with the ElevenLabs Voice AI Platform using a lightweight IVR JavaScript script and native SIP REFER for call transfers. Audio and call control are handled entirely through standard SIP signaling, while all conversational logic, prompts, voice selection, and routing rules are configured in the ElevenLabs dashboard. This approach removes the need for webhooks or WebSocket connections and keeps the PBX side intentionally minimal, making the deployment clean and production-ready.

Why Multi-Tenant Still Matters for MSPs

Multi-tenant architecture allows MSPs to manage multiple customers efficiently on a single, secure PBX while maintaining strict tenant isolation. By sharing infrastructure, MSPs can reduce operational costs, apply updates and security patches centrally, scale customers on demand, and onboard faster without increasing complexity. As cloud and SaaS models continue to dominate, a well-designed multi-tenant phone system provides the control, flexibility, and reliability MSPs need to support growth, evolving requirements, and modern communications workloads.
