Key Integration Features
The Vodia-Shiji integration meets the real-world needs of hotels. Its extensive menu of robust communication features helps streamline the entire guest experience, from check-in to check-out and everything in between.
Room check-in: When a guest checks in the room extension gets the name of the guest, as well as activates the account for calling, including whether it is allowed to make international calls or not etc. With the name, it also makes it easy to identify the guest immediately when calls are made to the front desk or any other hotel service. Also, if a mobile phone number had been provided, the guest’s phone number is linked to that extension for any calls to the room if the guest is out, including access to his/her voicemail. If the guest email has been provided during check-in, then that is also linked to the extension and the guest can get emails regarding his/her calls, including missed calls, or voicemail etc. And much more.
Room check-out: When the guest is checked out, the phone extension is cleaned up. All call logs, voicemail, history, chat, recordings etc. are cleared and the extension made inactive.
Room move: If the guest changes the room, all the phone extension information of the guest, like call logs, voicemail, chats etc. are moved to the new room and removed from the old.
Call accounting and billing: All guest calls are posted back to the Shiji PMS for accurate, automated billing, obviating the need to manually reconcile phone charges.
Maid codes: Maid codes can be assigned that the maid can dial from the room to mark the status of the room as dirty, clean or inspected etc. that is fed back to the PMS system for automatic update of the room status and who updated it.
