“We are the perfect solution for Avaya customers,” said Kyle Asbury, Director, Sales and Marketing, Vodia. “If you stay with Avaya, we’ll support you; if you want to go with another brand, we can help you migrate to both another IP phone brand and to our best-in-class, feature-rich, easy-to-deploy, robust and secure cloud PBX.”

On Wednesday, August 9, 2022, IP phone designer and manufacturer and cloud communications company Avaya, based in Durham, NC, announced its results for its third quarter of fiscal 2022 ended June 30, 2022, reporting a 20 percent drop in revenue as compared to its 2021 third quarter. The company has advised customers, employees and shareholders it may not be able to withstand this decrease in revenue combined with significant operating losses. According to Avaya’s August 9, 2022 form 8-K, Avaya “has determined that there is substantial doubt about the “company’s ability to continue as a going concern.”

The Vodia phone system interoperates seamlessly with Avaya phones J169 and J179, and we will support existing Vodia users with Avaya phones for the life of these phones: we are also offering migration assistance to enterprises, organizations and small businesses looking to transition to another brand of IP phone in combination with the most feature-rich, easy-to-deploy cloud PBX solution in the marketplace. If you’re considering migrating to the Vodia phone system, we can help you get it done quickly and seamlessly with no disruption to your operations, enabling you to digitally transform your organization and adopt an entirely remote or hybrid work model.
