Vodia visited HITEC 2025 in Indianapolis to engage with key hospitality technology partners and explore the latest innovations in the industry. Represented by Sales Engineer Eric Altman, Vodia connected with leaders from Shiji, Agilysis, Maestro, and Oracle. The event offered valuable insights into the evolving hospitality tech stack and affirmed Vodia’s commitment to AI-powered communications. With its recent integration of OpenAI’s Realtime API, Vodia continues to deliver smarter, multilingual guest experiences and more efficient hotel operations.

HITEC is a non-profit technology trade show for the hospitality industry. Produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), a global nonprofit hospitality association, HITEC gives attendees access to the latest hospitality technology, industry experts, essential education, and the resources to find cost-effective ways for hospitality companies to improve their bottom line. The event was held in Indianapolis, IN, from June 15 to June 18.

Vodia recently announced its integration with Shiji, a global technology company dedicated to providing innovative solutions to the hospitality industry and a HITEC sponsor.  Eric Altman, Vodia Sales Engineer, visited the Shiji booth and also spent some time with representatives from Agilysis, Maestro, and Oracle

“HITEC Indianapolis was a terrific widescreen view of the future of hospitality technology and a great opportunity to envision the next stage of Vodia’s AI hospitality roadmap and our place in the tech stack,” said Mr. Altman. “AI continues to gain traction as the foundation of guest satisfaction and improved operations going forward, and we are thrilled to be part of it.”

Vodia has long been at the vanguard of hospitality communications, with a full range of robust features for a cutting-edge telephone system for hotel staff, management, and guests, including multiple device registration across device classes, guest mailboxes, privacy, and support for superior audio quality.

Earlier this year, Vodia announced the integration of OpenAI’s Realtime API with its PBX, enabling real-time AI-powered hotel phone systems that enhance guest services.

This hospitality-driven integration leverages natural speech processing, so guests can access hotel amenities, request services, and make reservations with simple voice commands in multiple languages. With the Vodia phone system, hotels can now provide guests with automated, personalized experiences while improving operations, reducing costs, and exceeding service expectations.

Vodia invites hospitality providers to attend our webinar, Five-Star Hospitality Communications: Fanvil IP Hotel Devices and the Vodia Phone System, on June 25, 2025. More information and a registration link are available here.

We love the hospitality industry, and we continue to add features to our phone system to improve guest experiences and support more efficient hotel operations. Want to find out more? Be our guest: sales@vodia.com, +1 (617) 861-3490.
